Why Design Guidelines? If you are developing within an existing context, or trying to establish a sense of place, design guidelines are a very helpful tool. Our Design Guidelines take on the feel of picture books. First we listen and ask questions about what is desired, then we illustrate the do’s and don’ts, and finally we add text to educate about the why. Our experience from decades of development review aides in streamlining the process for everyone.
